DESOLEE PAPA

Désolée Papa (Sorry Dad): Welcome in an idyllic dream of a pastel environment where light blue and rosy shades contrasts with a tattoo background that is usually more « rock ». It is a story of a link between softness, nature and art. This new Beauty Concept Store placed at the Printemps de la Beauté in Paris. Resonating with the codes of sacred geometry, Elodie Ricord imagines refined stylings, ogival shapes, to adorn the space harmoniously. She reveals her art by creating two majestic screens decorated with a huge fresco. Thought like a piece of art, these screens divide the volumes to offer intimacy to its customers. « Getting out from the classical codes, placing art in the heart of the project: materials, textures, fabrics, refinement and details are invited. The designer imagined an ink wave mixing with a liquid texture, in this work she wanted to transcribe the path of each of our lives, where only imagination will allow to perceive this pictural concept. As a tattoo in the skin here is a tribute the artistic world that inspires and innovates the tattoo artwork. Inviting to reflection: starry sky, space, ocean, each person can appropriate oneself to it. »
